Picture a rural oasis, but still within the city of Ottawa, with a huge backyard and a beautiful house (with an indoor pool, might I add) where all 12 of your guests can stay and celebrate your nuptials. And you get Julie's & Stephen's perfectly small and intimate wedding with their closest people at the 1000 Owls Estate in Cumberland.

The ceremony was outdoors in front of one of the gazeboes with guests making an aisle on both sides. And right after the ceremony the couple did their first dance inside the gazebo.

Taking portraits right on the property meant that Julie & Stephen could join the party inside the house fairly quickly. And I, as a photographer, also appreciate when all the events of the day take place in one location. ;) Easy and simple!
